Adaptive dressage training intelligence

Know what to work on today.

GaitEQ is the everyday training brain for independent dressage riders — structured solo schooling, grounded in classical progression, for every ride between lessons.

The problem

Riders school alone three to five times a week. Most of it is unstructured.

Even riders with a coach school alone most days, juggling work, family and yard time. Without structure, they default to the same vague session again — risking confusion, plateau or injury.

3–5×
Solo rides per week

The work between lessons is where most rider–horse development happens.

Regular high-quality instruction is gated by money, time and logistics.

“Same again.”
Default solo session

Generic fitness apps ignore the horse. Trackers log a ride. Neither helps you plan one.

How it works

Your constraints, in. A structured ride, out.

You tell GaitEQ what today actually looks like. It returns a clear, tickable schooling plan — warm-up, main work, cool-down — and logs the session automatically.

  • Inputs. Time available, energy, schooling level, equipment on hand, training-scale focus.
  • Output. A clear ride plan you can tick off on your phone, with readiness tracked for horse and rider as a unit.
  • Over time. Trends, training load and patterns surface in Insights — so the planner gets sharper every week.

What we believe

Calm, classical, horse-first. Always.

Structure

Concrete plans — warm-up, main work, cool-down. Not vague intent.

Partnership

Horse and rider tracked as one developing combination.

Safety & soundness

Stepwise progression at your grade. No quantum leaps.

Respect for coaching

GaitEQ extends your coach’s work. It doesn’t replace it.

AI-enabled, not AI-led

Patterns and suggestions, never moment-to-moment commands.

Calm progress

Steady, non-judgemental, grounded. No hype. No guilt.

“AI sits in the background to help riders understand their work — not to issue instructions from a screen.”

A GaitEQ founding principle
Common questions

What people ask us first.

No. Coaches are central to dressage and we start from a position of deep respect for that expertise. GaitEQ extends your coach’s work into the rides between lessons — and in time, lets coaches push programs and homework directly to your Today screen.
A working prototype already exists. We move into iOS TestFlight beta in late 2026 and target App Store launch in May 2027. Joining the waitlist gets you early access in the order you sign up.
Yes. The planner is built for any rider who wants purposeful, horse-first schooling — whether you compete or simply want better work at home. Competition prep is one mode, not the whole product.
You own your data. We never sell individual training records — only anonymised aggregates may be used to improve the product. Apple Health integration is optional and never required.
